#vDM30in30 Day 7 – Sao Paulo VMUG

A new friend of mine named Valdecir (Val) Carvalho is restarting the Sao Paulo VMware User Group (VMUG) in Brazil. Val started working on this just before meeting him in person at VMworld 2016 US and there he also had the opportunity to meet with other VMUG Leaders from all over the world.

Recently he participated at the VMware vForum in Sao Paulo last month where he was able to generate more support and moment.  Kudos to Val for doing a great job and his hard work is starting to pay dividends.  He will be kicking off his first Sao Paulo VMUG this month November 17, 2016.  Congratulations to VMUG and VMUG Sao Paulo!

As part of the welcoming of the new members to Sao Paulo VMUG, Val requested that VMUG leaders globally create a short welcome video.  I thought this is a great idea.  So what follows is my first stab at making a welcome video for the Sao Paulo VMUG in Portuguese.  Let me know what you think and if it makes sense.  Thanks!

It is a simple video as I took this on my iPhone and hope it helps the new Sao Paulo VMUG Members to feel the warm welcome to the VMUG family. To “feel the love!”  We are here to support them and so is the VMUG Leadership Globally.  We hope to inspire and to help provide lessons learnt, share experiences and guidance.  I look forward to the success of the Sao Paulo VMUG and look forward to visiting Brazil next year and  to show my support in person at one of the Sao Paulo VMUG meetings.
